In today's interconnected and complex world, collaboration and collective actions have become increasingly essential for achieving success. While individual comrades efforts and achievements hold value, working as a collective offers numerous advantages that surpass the benefits of a comrade working alone.  One of the key advantages of collective actions is the diverse perspectives and complementary skills that comrades bring to the table. Each comrade possesses a unique background, expertise, and set of experiences. When working collaboratively, these diverse perspectives merge to create a more comprehensive understanding of the task at hand.  In the realm of activism bold, A comrade's story must be told. Lucy Ciru, a name so true, With fire in her heart, she wore her hue. A Social Justice Activist she stood, Fighting for what she knew was good. In Kiamaiko, her battle roared, Through the center, justice soared. Her sickness couldn't make her abstain. Against high costs of living, she'd protest, And extrajudicial killings detest. On the frontline, she would stand, A beacon of hope, a spirit so free. In the pursuit of human dignity's reign, She motivated us not to wane. Comrade Ciru, a warrior, true, In our memories, we'll always hold you. On Thursday, Kenya lost a remarkable compatriot, Comrade Lucy Ciru. With a heavy heart, I pen this tribute to honor her memory and celebrate her tireless efforts as a social justice activist. She was a revolutionary socialist who dedicated her life to fighting for the rights of the marginalized. Despite her own struggles, she never hesitated to join study cells, protests, and campaigns to create a better society. She stood up against the high cost of living, extrajudicial killings, and oppressive taxation laws imposed by the Kenyan government. Her unwavering commitment and selflessness inspired not only me but also countless others in our pursuit of human dignity. Today, I wanted to shed light on a crucial topic: the impact of taxation on the cost of living and the burden it places on impoverished citizens. Specifically, I will address the context of the Kenya Kwanza government, urging them to cut excessive spending, end their alignment with the International Monetary Fund, combat corruption and misappropriation of funds, eradicate tribalism, and ensure respect for the constitution and the rule of law.
